Description
Man, is this a good wine. Graphite and lead pencil shaving aromas accent a core of blackberry and black olive flavors. This is not a heavy baked fruit style made from a warmer region; this is the coldest region growing Syrah so there is plenty of acidity, energy and freshness in the wine. You get some blue fruit but also the savory non-fruit flavors that pair so well with food.
