Unlike the main Clos with its unusual clay and manganese, these parcels sit on typical Fleurie granite, and the 30-40 year old vines produce a lighter, more classically floral style. Whole clusters, native yeast fermentation, about 10 days maceration, then 9 months in century-old oak foudres. Juicy and fresh, designed for earlier drinking.
