From the southern tip of Puglia by the masters at I Contadini, these little babies are trimmed and packed by hand only from artichokes they grow themselves. I Contadini only use the Violet Brindisi Apuglian variety artichokes packed in Olio. These crisp artichokes taste like the actual vegetable rather than the acidic brine packed terrors we see on our grocery shelves. They are firm yet perfectly soft for eating straight out of the jar. Pizza, pasta, bruschetta, or straight from the jar, we can't stop finding ways to eat these artichokes!
