Description
Certified biodynamic 50% Pinot Gris, 40% Gewurztraminer and 10% Riesling from a 0.3 ha parcel in the village of Bennwihr that grows 45+ year old vines. The wine is made with 100% whole cluster pressing for Riesling and Gewurztraminer, partially de-stemmed for Pinot Gris and macerated for 7 months in various amphorae (sandstone for Gewurztraminer, clay for Pinot Gris and Riesling).
This wine is an experience in extremes - at once light and fruit and dark and seductive. Smells like charred lemons, wildflowers and peach.
