Description

Both Riesling and Marsanne were harvested in the early morning. Whole berry pressed to stainless steel for natural, cool fermentation. The ferment was stopped at the point of sugar and acid in perfect harmony – around 10g/L residual sugar present. The wine was then bottled under crown seal to continue its fermentation. An ever evolving wine, this Pet Nat has yeast lees, which provide complexity and flavour. The wine is bright and juicy with lots of Riesling zesty notes and texture from the Marsanne. Best served chilled as an aperitif.

The Party Pet Nat is complex and fragrant on the nose with apricot, rock melon, orange peel and oatmeal notes, leading to a beautifully weighted palate offering finely textured mouthfeel with bright acidity, finishing savory and refreshing at the same time.
