Description
Greece's noble red grape at high altitude—Agiorgitiko ("St. George's grape," also called "Blood of Hercules") from 700 meters on the Mantinia plateau. The Troupis family has farmed vines and operated a nursery here since the 1970s, starting their own winery in 2010. Indigenous yeast fermentation, minimal intervention, alternative vessels including amphora and concrete. Estate fruit only.
