Description
The 2022 The Pepper Pot is a Rhône-blend based around Syrah, including a mix of fruit from the estate and the Helderberg. Matured in foudres and barrels, it has a clean, dark-cherry- and raspberry-scented bouquet that is quite expressive and comely. The palate is medium-bodied with a citrus-led entry and a dash of black pepper, leading to a nicely balanced and persistent finish. Enjoy it over four to five years, possibly more.
