More refined than most around, the Dolcetto d’Alba Roussot from Franceso Rinaldi is a fruit-forward, mouth-filling red with lots of attractive, floral aromas. The strong plum and blueberry fruit character that we pick up on the nose is accompanied by dried petals and a granite-like note that make it very enticing. The palate is round and plush, with lots of plum and juicy black berry character leading to a fresh and smooth finish. A delicious drop that breathes life back into this often-forgotten Piedmontese red wine.
