Description

After several years learning from and working for some of the Central Coast's most sought-after producers, Curt decided to go his own way. Curt's Groundwork wines gives you a sense of both place and varietal from the Central Coast. Curt achieves this through his commitment to minimal intervention from the vineyard to the bottle. In the field, cover crops are utilized rather than herbicides, and when pesticides or fungicides are necessary, organic solutions are pursued. In the cellar, these wines are fermented with native yeasts and only minimal sulfur is added post fermentation.

100% Grenache from San Luis Obispo. Low in alcohol and bottled unfined and unfiltered, this Grenache has intense flavors of framboise and orange rinds balanced with sweet herbs and spices.
