The medium-full bodied palate shows excellent structure with polished tannins supporting flavors of dark plum, cassis, and espresso, scoring 92 points for its balance and aging potential. Aged 18 months in French oak (30% new), it finishes with savory herbal notes and firm minerality. Drinking beautifully now with decanting, it will continue to evolve for another decade - pair with prime rib or mushroom dishes.
