Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay is a great example of everything we love about the Sta. Rita Hills — at once taut, focused and mineral, but bursting with flavor and concentration. Struck flint leads off the delicate nose, followed by citrus, lemon-lime zest, wet stone and elderflower. On the palate, the wine becomes distinctly extroverted, with waves of bright juicy citrus, candied lemon, pear and white peach with a lingering finish that’s dusted with sea salt.
