Description
This wine is a blend of 60% Nero d’Avola with 40% Frappato from 10 to 25 year old vines, made using spontaneous fermentation in steel tanks with indigenous yeasts. For maceration, Frappato lasts 5 days and Nero d’Avola lasts up to 12 days and it is then aged for one year in barrel and 500 liter tonneaux, which can be up to seven years old.
