Description
This wine is 100% Dolcetto grown in calcareous clay soils. The maceration happens on the skins for 7 days in steel vats and maturation in stainless steel tanks for 6 months, followed by a further 6 months in cement.
In many ways this has classic Italian Dolcetto flavors - cherry, earth, a little olive brine. But there's also an engaging streak of bright red flowers throughout. It's classic without being overly serious, perfect for a date night in or paired with a cheese board.
