Description
A selection of fruit from estate parcels with three different soil types: “silex” or flint stone; “terres blanches,” a combination of clay and chalk that is unique to the region; and “caillottes,” clay-rich soils with lots of stones in the Loire Valley of France. Hand-harvested. Destemmed; fermented on indigenous yeasts in tank. Aged in tank on fine lees. Aromas of red and black cherry, red plum, light spice, crushed stones. Medium-bodied, balanced, suave.
