Domaine Gérard Raphet Morey-St-Denis Vieilles Vignes ‘Cuvée Unique’ is a soulful, small-lot Pinot Noir made from 60+ year-old vines in ‘Clos des Ormes’ and declassified fruit from premier cru ‘Millandes.’ Though labeled as a villages wine, it ages like a premier cru thanks to its old vines, exceptional terroir, and traditional winemaking. Expect aromas of summer berries, warm earth, and baking spice, with flavors of red plum, black cherry, and chocolate dust. It’s medium-bodied, elegantly structured, and built to evolve gracefully. Hand-harvested, fermented on indigenous yeasts, and aged for 18 months in mostly neutral oak, then bottled unfined and unfiltered. A quintessential “Burgundy lover’s Burgundy,” crafted with quiet mastery across four generations.
