A field blend of all 13 grapes from Chateauneauf-du-Pape from a plateau of sand bounded by basalt monoliths.
2024 will become known as a dark, brooding, subtle but deeply concentrated vintage. A different kind of concentration from 2023’s fireworks of flashy aromatics aligned to contrapposto of sugar and acidity. This wine is astonishing in the way it presents visually as a light rosé but then opens into the mouth to reveal depth and concentration. The wine is massive and absurdly delicious. It takes the always Campari like herbal intoxication of this parcel to new heights. This is the wine I want to drink all summer, slightly chilled with every food imaginable
