In our inaugural volume of Humans/Being, we present the stunning work of Los Angeles photographer Thalia Gochez, along with a jewel of a foreword by journalist Javier Cabral in which he describes the three pillars anchoring Thalia's Latino community: WOMEN, HERITAGE & CHILDHOOD. Yes, the best photographers show us humanity. They show us a world that is true. This body of work from Thalia Gochez does all of that. It's a gorgeous testament to our country, big enough and (if we work on it really hard) beautiful enough to hold us all.
