Winzersekt is the German take on Grower Champagne. "Sekt" is German sparkling wine made in the traditional method, and when you see "Winzer" in front of it, that tells you that the wine is made with all estate fruit. The same team is growing the grapes, making the wine and labeling it for you!
Kissinger's take is electric. It smells like lemon zest and green herbs and tastes like crunchy stone fruit and salt and finishes completely dry. This is special, happy wine.
The “Winzersekt No. 3” is a one-third blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Blanc. Most of it is from the 2022 vintage, though a solera consisting largely of vintages 2020 and 2021 is also blended in.
