Pollocks 2023 is a natural wine crafted by Les Bottes Rouges in the Jura. 100% Chardonnay, which comes from a vineyard that is in conversion from being a conventional vineyard, so whilst being worked without chemicals it is not yet certified.
This wine has been in a barrel for one year whilst the most afforble of their range, really is excellent value for money with lots of various lemon citrus elements from lemon pith to lemon juice and a hint of white pepper, wet stone and mild floral softness. Comes with a delicate creamy finish and the acidity stays fresh within. Excellent to see a Jura wine deliver at this price
