Vilmart et Cie Grand Cellier, NV, 750ml



70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir. Assemblage of 2017-2019 harvests from Rilly-la-Montagne 1er Cru, clay and limestone soils. No malolactic fermentation, 10 months in large foudre, then 30+ months on the lees. Disgorged spring of 2022.

Smells green like grass, crispy pear and fennel. Mineral with a long finish; a citrus oil-esque sensation on the palate. Extremely limited + quite popular.
